Full-size real-world samples with the Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 VR II (on D3X)

It looks like we are playing Canon vs Nikon ping-pong with the updates. Now it is time for a Nikon update! Japanese website DC Watch has posted 15 full-size pictures, of the real-world variety, taken with the upcoming Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 VR II lens, mounted on their current flagship the D3X. The new lens is available for pre-order at Amazon et al for $2400. Pentaxians of course will point out that for around $1730 you can get both the Pentax K7 and the Tamron 70-200mm f2.8, which are about the price of a Nikon D300s without a lense.
