Canon S90 IS real-world samples hit the internets

Thanks to BarryF for pointing out in our previous S90 post, that the Canon S90is has been unleashed to the real-world and photographers have began sharing their real-world photos!

We start at the Canon Talk dpreview forums, with a busy thread that includes sample pictures, along with comparisons to the Panasonic LX3 and TZ7 (ZS3). You can see the samples directly at Smugmug by the Brandons. It includes ISO 800 night-photos and the LX3 vs TZ7 vs S90is set.

Where did the S90is come from?
The source of the excitement are some Best Buy stores which appear to have the camera in-stock. We checked the Best Buy website which lists the camera in pre-order status. Their shopping cart shows a shipping estimate of October 13 to 20.
