Canon S90 goes on sale in Japan on October 16

This does not always mean that shipment of the camera is imminent in the rest of the world, but it is always a step in the right direction! DC Watch says that the Canon S90is will go on sale in Japan on October 16, which is next week!

The current status at Amazon remains "pre-order".

UPDATE: One of our readers in Finland says that the S90is is likely to be available in Finland around October 16.
