Canon G11 test images at Imaging Resource

Pixel-peepers start your engines, and fire up the coffee machine! This is a two-cup pixel-peeping session as Imaging Resource has posted some (not all) of their studio test shots with the Canon G11. This is a camera that has managed to generate a new wave of existential discussions about the storied Canon G-series.

The first major flare-up as you may recall was the "GINO", the Canon G7 which came back from the Resurrection Ship without bringing with it all the "G-series fundamentals" that made the series so popular.

With the S90is now battling the LX3 and P6000, the G11 has very few direct competitors, the Ricoh GX200 and its predecessor, the G10, being the closest ones.
