Sinar is re-born out of the Franke & Heidecke ashes
It has been quite a busy medium format year, with good news and bad news and silver linings. The latter is this news item, where out of the ashes of the Franke & Heidecke shutdown comes Sinar Photography, which will take over most of the activities, while manufacturing is being absorbed by a Swiss company. So, Sinar lives on for now! It will be interesting to see in the next few months where they will be heading in terms of new products and R&D.
