Picture #9000 in the flickr pool

The pbase post reminded us to recount the blog's flickr pool, and we have a new milestone to report! We (collective-we) have crossed the 9000 image mark in the pool. As usual, we celebrate each "millenium" by featuring the millenium picture. Picture #9000 was *drum roll* "Biker Spill" by Brian Auer.

You can see the previous milestone pictures, along with favorites by each member at the flickr member showcase mini-blog. Time-permitting we will continue with the "favorites" picks, but we can't promise, because we have an additional 100+ cameras to keep track of since then! Oy vey!

And speaking of interactive stuff, the deadline for entry in our current contest is 9am New York City time on Monday September 28!
