Panasonic GF1 hands-on (with ISO comparison) by David Lee Tong
Four days after the Amateur Photographer UK print-review, we have more information on the GF1! This time photographer David Lee Tong has spent some quality time with the camera and he is sharing his findings with the rest of us!
There are a lot of camera-body pictures, including a few side-by-side with the Olympus E-P1, two cameras that fans of Serious Compacts will certainly be taking a close look at. He used the red camera body, so you can get a good feel of how it feels to have that one.
Please note this hands-on report was based on a pre-production camera, but David did not want to disappoint pixel-peepers, so he included an ISO elevator test (100 to 3200). Click on each picture to get the full-size.
The camera is available for pre-order at the moment, and you can see some of the well-known retailers accepting pre-orders at the just-launched GF1 stock-status matrix.
