New Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 DG OS lens is revealed

Sigma wants to zoom into your camera bag with their brand new Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 DG OS 35mmFF lens, that adds the OS to their existing duo of non-OS 70-300mm lenses. For now, it looks like a UK announcement, more details as it travels around the world.
The lens will be available in the four major 35mmSLR mounts, and of course the Sigma mount. The Canon will come out first (Sept 18 in Japan) followed by the other four at a later date.
The lens is now available for pre-order at Amazon for $500. The Japanese starting price will be around 60,000 yen. The European price will be 500 euro.
