New Samsung ST45 slim P&S compact announced in the UK

Because we still haven't reached 200 new digital cameras in 2009, the camera manufacturers are trying hard to squirt out as many unnecessary shiny-silver-clones as possible. One such is the brand new (we think) Samsung ST45 announced in the UK. Its claim to fame is probably its 16mm thin body, with all the other predictable features, 12mp sensor, 2.7" LCD, face, smile and fart detection, and things like that.

The shiny-silver-madness is so out of control that Samsung forgot to mention in their press release what type of a lens the camera has! More on it at:
