Leica M9 reviews and ISO comparison (full-size samples!) (updated)
Today is the day that Leica and the reviewers agreed to unleash their reviews and hands-on findings to the world! It is raining M9 hands-on reviews today :-)
We start with Luminous Landscape, where they share what they discovered after three days in Germany with the Leica M9 and unlimited access to all-things-Leica. As usual, we won't spoil their findings here. This is part #1, they will add more after they go on a field-trip with the camera later this month. A discussion of the review is under-way in the LL forums.
Next up, highly recommended by Luminous, Reid Reviews (subscribers only) has posted the first part of his extensive M9 review. Being a poor blog, we can't afford subscriptions, so we don't know what's in it :)
Next, we have (well not we, we) something for the pixel-peepeurs at Focus Numerique, where they have posted an ISO elevator crop. Click on each tiny crop to see a full-size JPEG version. OMG, ISO 2500 is ...! They also have a hands-on segment.
We will add more here as they get published. And remember, tomorrow (Friday) Luminous will be posting his S2 initial field-report!
New Updates
David Farkas has just posted his take on the M9, after shooting with it in Germany! This is a vertically long article with lots of web-size sample pictures. [NEW!]
