Hasselblad explains "True Focus" of their new HD4-series (updated)

The Imaging Insider was at the Hasselblad launch at the Kennedy Space Center, and has now posted new multimedia from the event. Of great interest is a 5-minute audio Q&A session where the Hassie Chief explains their new auto-focus technology. He starts his comment with a surprise: "we were inspired by the Nintendo thing" :-)

Of course, as they say, the proof of the effectiveness of this technology will be in the focus-pudding, however it is yet another sign of how frozen in evolution (going down a very narrow path) are the "SLR Traditionalists" at the Japanese mass-market manufacturers :)
