Top Selling DSLRs update: Panasonic GH1 enters, Olympus E-P1 returns
The on-going soap-opera that is the monitoring of the top selling DSLRs at Amazon.com has a brand new installment! As usual, we start with a screen-shot teaser and then discussion. If this is your first visit, be sure to check the introductory page.
Panasonic GH1 makes guest appearance
The Panasonic GH1 was briefly in-stock and that was enough to push the camera in the Top 20. Since then, the camera went up in price.
Olympus E-P1 returns
With the camera going in and out of stock both at Amazon and third-parties, the E-P1 picked up enough momentum to jump back in the Top 20! We need more time to see where this goes and of course a more stable supply.
Nikon D700 caught its second wind
The Nikon D700, pushed by a $50 discount, is catching its second wind at around $2300. This is not exactly a small price to pay, and despite the eminent release of the D300s, the siren's call of full-frame and high-ISO/low-noise performance is not easy to resist.
