Samsung joins the mega-zoom wars with the WB5000 (RAW, 24X)

After a trio of compact fun-zooms, Samsung joins the mega-zoom zoom parade with the brand new Samsung WB5000, featuring a 24X optical zoom and RAW capability! See it at CNet Asia. You can see some of the other specs in the display, including 12.5mp, full-manual, and lens starting at 26mm. CNet Asia has a brief hands-on with the camera, including six pictures of the camera body!

And speaking of Samsung - we didn't realize this when the cameras were announced - the three new Samsung cameras announced a couple of weeks ago (including the two with the dual-view displays - TL220/TL225, CL65) are actually taking microSD cards instead of SD/SDHC.
