Pentax K7 test results posted at Imaging Resource
Imaging Resource is getting even closer to finalizing their Pentax K7 review! They have now posted the test results for the K7, which you can see by checking the various sub-categories (sub-tabs) under the "Exposure" tab!
It includes Imatest, noise performance, flash, exposure and image quality! The camera is compared with the Pentax K20d, the Canon T1i/500D and the Nikon D300. And remember each crop is a link to the full-size image, so you can download, compare and post-process and draw your own conclusions.
Fans of dcraw will be thrilled that the program is getting a big shout-out from IR at the RAW tests page.
And that very page will likely be the most hotly contested in the forums, as various photographers look at ISO 800 and 1600 and opine on how each camera performs comparatively.
But if all else fails, you can claim victory for your favorite camera at ISO 6400, since anyone who tries to pixel-peep those pictures at full-size will end up seeing stars for the next three hours ;-)
All apologies for falling behind on the K7, E-P1 and D300s updates. We will catch up one of these days with mega-roundups! Please tell the camera manufacturers to stop announcing dozens and dozens of shiny silver clones, so we can catch-up :)
