Trouble with tribbles: Power issues with some Nikon D5000 models

Share/Save/Bookmark

This may get the "made in Japan" crowd riled up again, but regardless, Nikon informs D5000 users that some units may be suffering from a component defect that prevents the camera from turning on when you want it to turn on. Nikon will be offering this fix free of charge.

You will find out if you are one of the "lucky" "powerless" users on July 23 when Nikon reveals the affected serial numbers. Bookmark this Nikon support page and revisit to find out. For del.ic.ous users, you can save it to your bookmarks at delicious. We even posted the date in the Notes as a quick reminder, because we, here at the O'Noisy Factor, are looking out for you! The spins stops here! ;-)
