Threat Watch: CGI to kill the studio photographer?

PhotoNation, there are always chicken-littles running around proclaiming the death of photography. Usually it's exaggerated fears and dramatization, but sometimes some of them may be grounded, at least partially. Which is why we were worried when we read this article at the UK website Creative Review by the deputy editor of the BJoP (British Journal de photographie) saying that CGI is taking over and the traditional studio photographer would have to adapt and adjust.
