Samsung NX10 camera "touched" in Korea? (updated)
According to this dpreview forum thread at the newly launched Samsung Talk Forum, someone at the popular Korean forum SLR Club "touched" a Samsung NX10 camera at a Korean trade show. Already, the content from the Korean forum appears to have been removed. Not many details were revealed to begin with, with the most important tidbit being three Samsung-branded lenses (prime, and two zooms).
This should not be confused with the Samsung NC-10 netbook, or the older Samsung NX-series laptops.
The NX series was officially launched in March 2009 with a development notice by Samsung, "grounding" their previous announcement in August 2008 that they were working on a "Hybrid" system.
With the trade show happening, and the technician guy saying they would be told by Samsung on July 7, it is possible that Samsung may be making an announcement at this Korean trade-show? Or are there any other Korean trade-shows coming up?
Again, please treat this as a rumor, until/unless there is official information...
UPDATE from Korea
From the Pentax Forums, comment #24 comes from someone who attended the trade-show in Korea and has some tidbits on the camera. These seem to be in-line with what was posted at SLRClub above. The biggest surprise perhaps is that image stabilization will not be in the camera body.
Again, please keep in mind this is not an official statement, so treat this like a rumor.
