Samsung announcement coming on July 7?

In the Pentax Forums, a month ago, one person who said he was working for a South Korean contractor, wrote that there is a big Samsung announcement coming on July 7. This will bring us, he said, the announcement of the first Samsung NX-series camera, the GX30 dSLR, and the WB700/HZ30w. Judging from the model name, the HZ30w will likely be a new wide-angle superzoom that follows up on the HZ15w and HZ10w. The model number jumps, so it will be interesting to see if this is a more advanced model instead of a sequential zoom update.

UPDATE A Pentaxian in the PFF has noticed a patent application by Samsung that may be the shape of the things to come. Or not. As one of the PFF users noted, its a "backseat photographer" invention ;-)

UPDATE #2 It is now July 7 but no annie. It is possible that this was an event for the NDA crowd, not the general public announcement of the products?
