Picture #7000 in the flickr pool

We celebrate every one-thousand picture milestone of pictures submitted to the flickr pool by readers like you with this post! The pool now holds over 7000 pictures, and picture #7000 is the Otago Countryside, submitted by photographer Mike NZ, a freelance photographer from New Zealand. You can see more of his work at his official website.

You can check out all the submitted pictures, or add your own, by visiting the flickr pool page. We have a limit of five per person per day in order to feature more work from different photographers.

Recent submissions are featured on the front page of the blog (below the second post), the front page of the Old Blogspot blog, and they are in the rotation in the right sidebar. All these are done using a standard flickr widget that randomly selects pictures. In addition to that, we also point out pictures that catch our attention on our Twitter page.
