(OVER) Pentax K7 discount arrives, price drops to $1250

As of 11:45am eastern on Sunday, the price has returned to $1300! The original post follows in its entirety:

The K7 bug-reports continue to come in at Rice High, while at the same time, the Pentax K7 gets its first ever discount! You can now have it for $1250, half a price-stop below its starting price of $1250. This price is available from Beach Camera on Amazon and by Amazon herself. Beach-upon-Amazon has it in-stock for $1250, while Amazon herself offers it for pre-order at $1252. The prices are as of the time of writing of this blog-post and they are not updated automatically.

It is of course open to speculation as to whether this discount is due to a weekend sale price, or the start of the discounting process, or perhaps in response to the RiceHigh reports. In which case, you can thank RH for the saving$ :)

On the other hand, Yvon B gives ten good reasons to get the K7 if you can afford it.
