New Zeiss e-zine insists on 800-pixel samples

Share/Save/Bookmark

Nothing shows the quality and brilliance of an expensive lens better than an 800-pixel wide sample picture. We already picked on Tamron for this, so just because Zeiss is a "designer" name it doesn't mean they are "safe" from getting picked on. Dear Zeiss, please feel free to mix in some full-size sample images. Thanks :-)

The above is a "preface" to the new edition of the Zeiss webzine, "Camera Lenses". This month's issue features the Planar 50mm f1.4 T* ZE and Distagon 21mm f2.8 T* lenses, and talks manual focusing with auto-focus camera systems. The last one is quite an interesting article and a highly recommended reading for now or for later - add it to your delicious bookmarks!
