New Olympus E-P1 reviews, noise tests, and 30-min exposure

Time to catch up with the world of the E-P1 again! We have two reviews, more pixel-peepiential tests, and more! So let's get started!

More E-P1 tests and experiments
Close your eyes E-P1, or at least half-close them! Actually it's not that bad. Imaging Resource has posted high ISO RAW comparison crops comparing the E-P1 with the GH1, and the T1i and D5000. Keep in mind that the last two have larger sensors!

Next, Imaging Resource has posted their noise reduction comparison-crops, where they feature a crop from the same scene using the four NR settings (OFF, Low, Normal, and High).

And they close their latest update with a special birthday present for the pixel-peepers: Imatest data and charts and graphs and such!

Next, give the E-P1 30-minutes, and see what it can get you - the Imaging Insider has done a 30-minute exposure experiment and is providing the full-size image for evaluation purposes.

New Olympus E-P1 Reviews
At TOP, Ken Tanaka has posted his Olympus E-P1 review. The review starts with comparing the bod-sizes of the M8 and the Canon G10, and then proceeds with the hands-on findings and web-sized sample pictures. There is also a segment about using 4/3rds lenses. Conclusions are towards the bottom, and as usual we won't reveal them here.

Next, we have a full-size review of the camera at Czech photography site Fotografovani.cz. If you can't read in Czech, here are some of the segments computer-translated:
+ the review
+ ISO comparisons, resolution charts, Art filter comparison and other pixel peeper content
+ hundreds of full-size samples, real-world samples - click on each image to get the full-size.

But wait, there's more! The Imaging Insider is pointing to a short tech-review of the E-P1 from PCW/GGG.

While updating this post, a new E-P1 article went live by Derrick Story. He took the E-P1 to China during his recent travels. He lists all his E-P1 posts at the bottom of his blog-post.

We have just gone through the whole stock-status matrix and updated each box. Here are some of the highlights:
