New Olympus E-P1 and first 17mm f2.8 reviews have gone live
The E-P1 buzz continues with two reviews! First up, we have the first review of the most interesting so far OlyM43 lens, the 17mm f2.8, posted at high-energy website Lens Tip. This is an eleven-page easy-to-read review. As usual, we won't reveal their findings here, but if you are in a hurry, you can take a sneak peak at the conclusions.
And now to the E-P1 review at Digi Cam Review. Of interest to pixel-peepers, there is a series of ISO crops comparing it to cameras with bigger/smaller snesors, the Canon XSi/450D and the Fuji F100fd. Pros and cons and conclusions are at the bottom of the page. No spoilers here! You can find 40+ full-size JPEG samples at their gallery.
More E-P1 action
But wait there's more! Pop Photo has just posted a 160-second video preview of the camera.
The camera seems to be doing well in Japan sales-wise, notes Foto Actualidad.
A quick check, shows that the camera is currently in-stock by 3rd-party sellers at Amazon, including Ace Photo Digital and 17th Street. For more, be sure to check the E-P1 stock-status matrix.
