New Astroscope adapter allows dSLRs to see green in the dark

CNet Asia features a duo of upcoming lens adapters (for Canon and Nikon) that sit between the lens-mount and the lens itself, and allow the camera to "see" in the dark. The adapters will allegedly pass all the information that is usually exchanged between the lens and mount, so there won't be a major sacrifice of features.

This device gives (according to the manufacturer) an 8 to 10 stop boost, so you can go from nada to night-green images recorded.

You can read all about it at the company's website, at Electrophysics.com. They have a form you can fill in and request a demo, price or perhaps a PDF file.
