More options added to the commenting system
Intense Debate, the company that provides the commenting system we use on this blog has recently added two more commenting options! You can now comment using your Twitter profile, with the help of the Twitter OAuth feature. Similarly, you can also use Facebook to comment with your Facebook profile.
In addition to these new methods, you can also use:
+ OpenID
+ Intense Debate account
+ no account, just comment
One of the benefits of getting an Intense Debate (ID) account is that your own comments are in your Intense Debate account, instead of being just part of the website or blog. Plus, you can use the same account at a number of other websites that use ID, and you can add your website, blog, galleries, and social media pages in your ID profile. You can put as much or as little as you like in your ID account. You can decorate it like a Christmas tree (eg Noisy profile) or leave it spartan.
Here is an example post showing two comments, the first one posted using the Twitter OAuth, and the second using Facebook Connect: example comments.
An example picture is right below. If you wish, you can practice with the live buttons at the bottom of this post.
