As it is often the case with "high-interest cameras", everything gets magnified and over-analyzed, and dissected like frog. So Pentaxian Roland Mabo is on a crusade trying to summarize and clarify the root cause of the confusion about the K7 units floating in the review-o-sphere.

And JohnCPentax (a ranking Pentax USA employee) says the kerfuffle is not a big deal. And at the same time, he reveals in this forum post that Pentax USA has just received a "few units from mass production".
