Phase One "rescues" Leaf from Kodak (medium format news)

The Imaging Insider has just posted the hot new press release revealing that Phase One is taking Leaf from Kodak and forming a new company, Leaf Imaging, that will continue development and operations in Tel Aviv, Israel. The price of the transaction was not revealed.

This further consolidates the world of Medium Format, as it tries to both attack and defend itself from high-end DSLRs. This is also further "ouch" for Kodak fans, as the company sheds yet another professional-photography resource.
