Panasonic Leica adapters priced in Japan (updated with prices)
Computer-translated Japanese site DCWatch DC Watch has the prices for the recently announced Panasonic-made Micro Four Thirds adapters for the Leica M-series and R-series lenses. Unfortunately the computer-translators we found are failing to give us an answer on the price as we are getting two numbers for each lens. So if anyone can read Japanese, plese let us know!
The computer-translator says "20000 + 1,000 yen" = 21000 yen for the M-series (DMW-MA2M) and "20000 + 3000 yen" = 23000 yen for the R-series (DMW-MA3R). They are scheduled to go on sale in Japan on July 10. Not sure when they are coming out elsewhere. We just rechecked and did not find them on Amazon.
Update! The initial monthly output is not very promising, just 300 units per month each according to Panasonic Japan.
Update #2: Thanks to our reader "FilterFunk" in comment #1 below, we now know the prices. The text above has been updated to reflect those!
