Olympus E-P1 with 14-42mm now taking orders! (silver with black lens)

We interrupt the medium format marathon with some breaking news on the Olympus E-P1 front! The Olympus E-P1 with the 14-42mm lens kit (silver body, black lens) WAS in-stock and shipping at J&R World for $800 plus shipping and handling. UPDATE #2: As of Friday 3pm eastern, J&R World has upgraded it to shipping however, there is a 7 to 14 business days shipping estimate.

Now in-stock is the silver-on-black kit for $800 with free shipping at Adorama. Also shipping from Adorama for $300 each with free shipping is the black 14-42mm and silver 14-42mm lenses. [NEW!]

The same kit WAS in-stock at B&H Photo for $800 plus shipping. As of 10:30am eastern on Wednesday, this is out of stock, however B&H Photo is still accepting orders!

Amazon is also offering the E-P1 with 14-42mm kit for $800. Their estimate as of 9pm eastern on Wednesday July 1st (and Thur July 2nd) is that it will ship on July 6.

+ Everything at Amazon is in pre-order mode. But did you know there is a $5 body-cap (BC-2) for the E-P1 and you can pre-order it!
