dpreview delivers decision on Canon Digital Rebel T1i/500D
The Supreme Court at dpreview has issued its decision on the Canon Digital Rebel T1i/500D. In their 30-page opinion, they give the D-Rebel a thorough review. We won't reveal the conclusions here, although I'm sure of you are dying to find out. In the comparison test pages, they include comparisons to its bitter rival (D5000), the Olympus E620 (she's everywhere these days), and the previous Rebel (XSi/450D). But that's just the tip of the ice-berg, they have a whole lot more.

Best prices?
Unfortunately no best prices. All the major retailers we track on a regular basis, which you can see at the NoisyMall.com, are in lockstep offering the body-only for $800 and the 18-55mm EF-S IS kit for $900 (those who have it in-stock). This was the case before the review came out, so no, they are not adjusting their prices because of the dpreview review.
