Sigma DP2 shipping right now but with a $70 premium

Thanks to one of our readers for this tip! The Sigma DP2 is shipping right now at Amazon by 47th Street Photo, however, it has the usual "limited availability" premium. The official starting price is $650, however, 47th Street is offering it for $700 plus $20 shipping.

Most people do not want to pay extra for instant gratification, but this is a good sign in that at least someone has it in-stock and shipping. Please note that we go by what the websites say, we cannot place orders every time we see a camera in-stock or shipping. To do that, we would need a budget of a few million dollars per year. Now if the Bill-and-Melinda or Warren Buffet trusts want to make that happen, we are all ears :)
