Sigma DP2 review by Ken Tanaka at TOP
Ken Tanaka is back at TOP with a review of the Sigma DP2. This is a photographer-style review, not a pixel-peepiential review, so close the NoiseNinja and Photoshop ;-)
A nice top-view (no pun intended) gives us a great comparative estimate of the size of the DP2 versus the Canon G10 and the Leica D-Lux 4. Samples are included but they are not full sized. As usual, we won't spoil their conclusions, but if you are a die-hard Sigma fan, we strongly recommend decaf and Muzak while reading the review :)
Speaking of which, the review is discussed in the Sigma SLR Talk forum at dpreview.
And while we are talking DP2, there is a new firmware update, version 1.01, announced by Sigma. Details via the Imaging Insider.
In addition to the many posts and samples by the "Believers", this is the second review of the DP2, the first one came at Photo Review. You can read all the major updates for this camera at the DP2 mini-blog.
PS. All apologies for not posting this earlier, but there was another DP2-related article that looked like it might have been coming out today, but it looks like it was pulled back.
