Panasonic GH1 in the bloom: PL lenses, Joshua Tree and Philip Bloom
Philip Bloom is to the Panasonic GH1 what Chase Jarvis was to the Nikon D90. He has already provided a lot of helpful GH1 information (see GH1 roundup), but now there is more! He has a brand new exciting update, where he takes the GH1 and friends to the Joshua Tree Park in California. Not sure if a certain U2 album served as his soundtrack :)
Apart from the many sample pictures, the excitement in this post is a prototype PL mount adapter he used to put cinema lenses (!) on the tiny little GH1. So you can has Zeiss and Leica on your GH1 :)
He also throws in a sensor-size diagram and plenty of pictures of the camera setup and pictures taken with the camera setup.
The GH1 is available for pre-order for $1500 at Amazon and J&R World.
