Panasonic GH1 available for preoder for $1500 (with 14-140mm lens)

An eagle-eyed dpreview forum user noticed that the Panasonic GH1 is now available for pre-order at J&R World for $1500. This is the kit bundled with the 14-140mm lens. There is no delivery estimate on the product page, but the product page says "coming soon".

Unfortunately we cannot order every camera every time we notice it in-stock or available for pre-order just to see what happens. But if Warren Buffet or the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation are willing to sponsor this blog, we'll be more than happy to do so, and have a giveaway for each test-ordered camera :)

At the moment, at least in the US market, you cannot buy the camera or the lens separately, you have to buy the GH1 kit with the 14-140mm lens. Granted, Micro Four Thirds is brand new, but a number of photographers are wanting the camera so they can "digitalize" their M-series lenses, or the lens so they can use it on their G1.
