Panasonic 7-14mm f4 lens taking pre-orders at $1100

The Panasonic 7-14mm f4 Micro Four Thirds lens is now available for pre-order at Amazon.com for $1100 with free shipping. Amazon estimates shipping to be "1 to 2 months". The price of $1100, although high, should not come as a surprise, we've already learned of the UK price of the 14-140mm Micro Four Thirds lens (800 UK pounds), so clearly all those Leica adapters and mounted Leica lenses have rubbed off their prices to the M4/3rds lenses.
