New medium format: Phase One P40 Plus with Sensor Plus (40-megapixels)

Even medium format has its leaks, even though it has nowhere near the millions of rapid (and rabid) fans like 35mm DSLRs. So what was supposed to be officially revealed tomorrow, it has already been revealed. And that that is the Phase One P40+ MeFo with the Sensor+ sensor. (MeFo is a silly shortcut we use for Me-dium Fo-rmat, since MF has a variety of different meanings).

The Sensor+ sensor is a new technology that is trying to move MeFo further ahead. Here are a couple of refreshers on Sensor+ at Luminous Landscape and the very informative Image Sensors World blog.
