ISO wars and giant hands-on preview: D5000 vs T1i vs E620
If you are looking to get a 2009 digital SLR under $1000, the three models featured in this brand new Quesabesde.com hands-on preview and ISO shootout are probably in your list of models to consider.
Q (short for Quesabesde.com) had the three cameras around their necks (literally and figuratively) and they have posted a giant post which is a combination of a hands-on preview, ISO shootout and video sampling, giving us all a good feel for the cameras. Good considering that most of us don't have all those three cameras around our necks :-)
The text is in Spanish, but the pictures speak for themselves. This is more of a visual article and comparison, so unlike a technical review, you do not need an accurate translation in order to figure out what is going on.
Oops, we forgot to mention, the three models featured are the Nikon D5000, Canon T1i/500D and Olympus E620. Speaking of the E620, french website Focus Numerique posted a detailed E620 ISO-range comparison.
PS: As you can see, we have now officially entered another "Review Season", where more and more of the new models of 2009 are finding themselves in the hands of photographers and camera-reviewers alike. The fun is just beginning! :)
