Canon D-Rebel T1i 500D makes a splash
The T1i made a splash in the top 10, as its initial availability via OneCall.com pushed it all the way up and way past the Nikon D5000.
This puts three Digital Rebels in the Top 10, while the D40/D60 kits are further down, but also in the Top 25. Rounding out this impressive showing of seven DSLRs in the Top 25 are the Nikon D90 kit and 50D body only.
Panasonic wins this superzoom battle
Twists and turns in the SuperZoom battle. This time around, the 2008 Panasonic models have taken over, over the Canon 2008 models. Not one, but two FZ28 models are in the Top 25 (black, silver), due to very favorable prices.
On the other hand, the Canon SX10is/SX110is duo is troubled by price increases instead of price discounts. Meanwhile the new SX200is is yet to make any significant move upwards, even though it is starting to slowly drop in price and trending to $340.
