Welcome to the Late Edition of our Thursday round-up! You can catch-up with all our giant round-ups at the PMA Central mini-blog.
The Big Story
Kodak and Sakar reach a licensing agreement for Sakar to produce Kodak-branded gear, including 35mm film SLRs and compact cameras among other things. Some more details
Olympus says that 12-megapixels are enough and if you want more, get a 35mm-full-frame DSLR (!). Yet another great PMA article at CNet Underexposed. Read on for more thoughts about the future of digital cameras and (D)SLRs by Olympus! I wonder how many will remember this statement if/when Olympus releases a 14+ megapixel DSLR :-)

From the Trade Show Floor
The actual trade show is now officially over, as the booths are starting to get disassembled and people starting to head to the airports and teleporters.
digitalcamera.jp has posted sample pictures taken with the DP2, along with lots of pictures of the Fuji 3D camera, and plenty of Fuji and Olympus P&S models, and the "Skinnit" service.
Adorama has summarized their PMA coverage spotlighting some new products that have been flying under the radar, including two new Holga stereo (120mm) cameras. Yes, these are film cameras, not digital!
Video highlights from the day's action at Camera Dojo looking at three different practical accessories for photographers.
Kodak blogger Jennifer Cisney has posted a video interview with Super-Amit of Photojojo.
For those who may be confused, there three different blogs with similarly sounding names: Photojojo, Cameradojo and Photodoto. And there will be four when we launch Noisymojo ;-)
TWIP Photo wraps up their PMA coverage with this latest post.
In the Blogosphere
Imaging Resource summarizes what is known so far about the new Epson RD1x, the limited availability re-booted digital rangefinder. Cheaper than a Leica, but more expensive than a Canon 5D Mark II.
Leica has a new chairman of the "Bored" says TOP.
If you are a numbers geek, there is a new affordable research report, that ranges in price from FREE to $249. Details via Imaging Resource.
PMA 2010 Future Trends
It is quite possible that when we talk about PMA 2010, one of the big features of some of the digital cameras would be USB 3.0 compatibility, assuming of course everything goes according to USB 3.0 plan. With the way technology is, you never really know until you know :)
Vote for the Most Exciting and Disappointing
We launched a pair of polls last night asking you, the readers, to vote which cameras you think are the most exciting and which non-happenings are the most disappointing. Check it out and Vote!. Both polls are multiple-answer, so if you like more than one cameras, you can vote for them.
