Olympus makes no (public) progress in Micro Four Thirds
The CNet Underexposed blog has an update on the status of the Olympus Micro Four Thirds products and it is disappointing. Olympus has not shown anything new, just the same "orange concept model" from Photokina, and points to the "summer of 2009".
This is something that frustrated a number of people during the launch of Four Thirds, and it may be one of the reasons why it isn't as popular as it could have been. Namely, Olympus is taking forever and a day to deliver products.
However, some Olympus users may defend this by making the argument that Olympus didn't want to steal Panasonic's GH1 thunder or take the spotlight away from the Olympus E620, which, considering the void of new Canon, Nikon, Sony and Pentax DSLRs, has a really good chance for commercial success.
Update: Some potentially promising rumors, there is talk of 'June availability' - said CameraRumors.
