Interview with five Olympus representatives at dpreview
Hot on the heels of the Panasonic interview, dpreview has posted a few hours ago an interview with Olympus. As you may recall, dpreview had asked the Olympus forum for questions to ask before PMA, but they have, in their own words, failed to get most of them answered.
Some of the interesting topics that are addressed or at least discussed in the interview:
+ image stabilization in Micro Four Thirds
+ Four Thirds vs Micro Four Thirds
+ existential questions on the lens road map
+ how about CD-AF compatibilities?
+ on full-frame and "professional"
+ professional leadership vs technical leadership
+ a shout-out to the C5050
+ new sensor/engine in development
+ megapixel wars (will they retract this new 12mp statement again?)
+ Art Filters discussion (!)
+ on the price of the Olympus E30
+ for all the answers and non-answers, check the interview.
Questions that were not included in the interview
+ will there be a fixed-lens camera with RAW?
+ xD
+ Panorama with Olympus-branded cards
Reactions to the interview
Every word and apostrophe is analyzed in the Olympus dpreview forum. A very interesting discussion it is!
