Vertical Reader Picture Showcase and free PSAs for non-profits

One of the reader-submitted suggestions in today's what do you want poll was "more from the flickr pool". So, in one of the fastest turnarounds ever, we created a vertical flickr badge (160x600) and added it to the rotation in the"Sponsors/PSA" section in the right sidebar. This will be displayed at random times, along with everything else already there.

Just like our horizontal display, we are using a standard flickr badge to display random pictures submitted to our flickr pool for this purpose. The pictures are displayed directly from flickr - we do not save or store the pictures anywhere! For more, please check the Reader Picture Showcase intro.

And speaking of PSA (public service announcements), if you are running a not-for-profit (eg ad-free, fee-free) photography-related website or blog, we can display a (free) PSA banner showcasing your site/blog. The PSA banners will be added to the rotation with everything else in the "Sponsors/PSA" segment. Please let us know if you are interested. Each request will be evaluated for content and whether it would be a good match. We got inspired to do this after learning of the one-year anniversary of the non-profit PhotographyBB magazine.
