Sony launches new T-series dynamic duo with the T900 and T90
The Sony hit-parade continues with two new T-series models, joining the Sony party of today. A summary press releases of the new Sonys can be found at the Imaging Insider.
The new Sony T900 and T90 jump aboard the 12mp 1/2.33" sensor. Please don't ask us to sort out the T-series line-up for you, but this duo follows up on the T700 and T77 duo which was announced at Photokina 2008. Why have a 12-month product lifecycle when you can have a 6-month product lifecycle? Let's fill the landfills with shiny silver clones!
Prices are $380 and $300 respectively with a 3.5" and 3" LCD respectively. The 3.5" LCD is of note because it has 920K+ dots, providing a boost in screen-resolution not usually found in this segment. Both cameras feature folded optics (4X CZ-branded lens, 35-140mm, optical stabilization) with a 3" LCD, T-series pizazz, 30fps 720p video recording, and of course the deal-killer, MemoryStick :)
