Nikon Coolpix S220 is the new mass-market compact model
The Coolpix S-series is a very populous line of P&S models. Our last year's round-up said "so many Coolpixies so little time". A year later, Nikon choses to expand the 2XX and 6XX series but goes quiet on the 5XX series.
The S210 has dropped a lot in price, making it a nice deal (around $120 at Amazon), but its replacement, the new Coolpix S220 has not fallen far off the price tree as it starts at $150 and it is available in six delicious colors. Speaking of obnoxious delicious colors, here is how the green version looks.
