New Olympus X915 and X890 are limited availability clones
If you were not already confused by the 13 (!) new digital cameras announced by Olympus so far in 2009, get ready to be confused! They have launched two new camera models, the X915 and X890 which according to Photography Blog will be exclusive to a UK retailer.
By quickly looking at the specs, these two cameras seem to be either clones or very closely related to the FE-5010 and FE-3000 or something like that. Frankly, we don't care :)
While many photographers, interested and curious about Micro Four Thirds, are anxiously waiting to see what they have been working on, the ostriches at Olympus are wasting resources by cloning already cloned cameras and coming up with lame excuses (microSD) for not offering direct SD/SDHC support, and increasing totally unnecessary e-waste.
Today, Olympus, you are the worst camera company in the wooooooooooooooooooooorld!
