New Fuji Z30fd picks up where the Z20 left off
The new Fuji Z30fd is the new affordable and fun Z-series model that follows-up on the Z20fd. It will have a 10mp 1/2.3" sensor with a 3x folded-optics lens, and a 2.7" LCD. One thing of interest perhaps is a feature they call "dual-shutter releases". No, not a DSLR-style-grip dual shutter, but one button for digital-stills recording and one button for video recording. That's according to the press release.
The starting price will be $180 with an expected March 2009 debut. Once again, Fuji shows megapixel-restraint by "remaining" at 10mp instead of jumping to the 12mp "sensor du jour".
