Hands-on with the new Panasonics by Pho Review in Miami

Panasonic announced a wave of new digital cameras a few days ago, and now there's a first-hand hands-on report with some of these cameras at Photography Review, during a Lumix event in beautiful Miami. They have posted a five-page report, and it includes the FT1 (TS1) playing with ...mermaids and snakes (!), along with the TZ7 (aka ZS3), an early look at the AVCHD Lite video mode and more!

Remind me to rant again about Panasonic's globally-confusing naming scheme! We will not play Panasonic's games. The names we will use for these new cameras are the organic names - TZ7, TZ6 and FT1. Goodbye ZS3, ZS1 and TS1 names!

PS: I hope foodies don't object to our use of the word "Pho" as a shortcut for Photography :)
