We are launching a brand new contest today! The lucky winner will receive a completely FREE one-week rental of a lens or DSLR body of their choice courtesy of BorrowLenses.com. Professional DSLRs and super-telephoto lenses are excluded. All apologies to all our international readers, the contest is open only to USA-based photographers because of the nature of the prize, lens rentals can only be shipped to the 50 US-states.

The Prize: One week free rental of lens or DSLR body
The prize is a free one-week lens rental from BorrowLenses.com. Please note that this excludes the lenses in the super-telephoto categories (Nikon, Canon).

If you prefer to try a DSLR body instead of a lens, you can do that instead! Excluded from the promotion are the "professional-caliber" DSLRs (Canon 1Ds Mark III and Mark II, Canon 1D Mark III, Canon 5D Mark II, Nikon D3, D3x and D700).

Or if you prefer, instead of a Lens or a DSLR, you can choose the Canon G10 or Canon G9 as your free rental.

BorrowLenses.com will take care of the shipping charges in both directions, when they ship the lens to you, and when you ship the lens back to them. So this prize is FREE to you.

The Contest
To enter the contest, write in the Comments section which lens or camera body you would like to try from the BorrowLenses collection (see exclusions above), and why you would like to try it. The photographer who makes the best case and convinces us will be the winner of the contest and receive the prize.

When you write your entry in the comments, be sure to include something that uniquely identifies you, such as a blog, flickr page, portfolio, twitter account, etc. This is important so we can correctly identify the winner. Make sure the account you select is something that you check on a regular basis. There is a saying, "victory has many fathers", so we want to make sure we correctly identify the winner.

The contest ends on Monday February 2nd at 8pm eastern time (5pm pacific time).

This is optional but can be fun: If you are the lucky winner, and you would like to share your experience with everyone else after you tried your free one-week rental, we will be happy to showcase it. It can be anything you like, whether you write a post on your website or blog, a review of the product you tried, or share pictures you took, or anything else you wish to share.

+ The lucky winner will place the order online at BorrowLenses.com and they request a credit card number on file to cover the risk of a no-return. They will not charge your credit-card. + The offer excludes super telephoto lenses and pro camera bodies as outlined above.
