Panasonic FS25 makes it a six-pack of new cameras
We missed one! In addition to the aforementioned models, Panasonic has also introduced the FS25, which now explains the model-naming scheme of the FS-series. The FS25 is now the highest numbered model, above the CES-new Lumix FS15.
It is very similar to the FS15 (12mp sensor, 5X lens, etc). The main difference as far as we can tell is that it has a 3" LCD instead of a 2.7" of the FS15. And of course it has a higher price, $250 instead of $200. It is available in silver, black and gold, and pre-order it Amazon for $250 right now.
The initial production output for this model is a rather modest 30,000 units per month, with a Japanese release date of February 20.
