Olympus SP590uz outdoes everyone with a 26X superzoom lens (updated #2 - NO RAW)
The new Olympus SP590uz is going to have a 12-megapixel sensor and a wild 26X optical zoom lens. Yes, twenty-six times zoom! Wild? You betcha! This is an update to the original post, at least two different sources state that this camera has RAW, and its image stabilization is of the sensor-shift variety. UPDATE #2: This camera DOES NOT HAVE RAW, as shown in this technical review of the camera at Photo Review.
This outdoes the Kodak Z980, which held the "SuperZoom Ratio Crown" for just a couple of days.
